2025 Overdose Vigils🕯️
To this day we’re still feeling the weight — and the warmth — from August 31st, 2025 Overdose Vigils. It was an evening filled with quiet strength, shared sorrow, and unwavering solidarity. Whether you joined us in person or held space in your heart from afar, thank you. Your presence reminded us of something powerful: we are not alone in this fight.
For the Lives We’ve Lost — And the Lives Still Being Lived
We gathered in not just one but two different counties to honor those taken far too soon by overdose — to say their names, remember their stories, and ensure that their light continues to shine. 💜
To those we've lost: we carry you in every step forward.
To those still here: we stand with you in love and support.
To those still fighting: we see your strength, and we believe in your journey.
There were tears, there was silence, there was song — but above all, there was hope. Hope that by coming together, we can turn our collective grief into purpose. Hope that one more life can be saved. Hope that change is not only possible — it’s already happening.
Community is the Cure
We are endlessly grateful for the communities that continue to show up, speak out, and stay strong. It is your compassion, your advocacy, and your courage that fuels this movement.
Each candle lit, each hug shared, each name spoken was a testament to the fact that no life should be defined by its struggle. Every life matters. Every story counts.
Capturing the Moments That Matter
A special thank you goes to Kerry Paradis Photography 📷, who captured the emotion and energy of the evening with such care and artistry. These photos don’t just document an event — they tell a story of resilience, remembrance, and radical love.
