Harm Reduction *
Harm reduction is a practical approach that focuses on reducing the negative effects associated with substance use and other high-risk behaviors. It meets people where they are without judgment and provides tools, education, and support to help them stay safer and healthier.
At Voices of Hope, harm reduction includes services such as naloxone (Narcan) distribution, safer use supplies, RAD testing, education, outreach, and connections to treatment, recovery, healthcare, and other community resources. Harm reduction helps save lives, build trust, and create opportunities for individuals to improve their health and well-being while supporting them on their own path to recovery.
