Staff Spotlight
Diana is dependable, resourceful, and diligent. Her journey with Voices of Hope began as a participant, and shortly thereafter she started her recovery journey at Second Chance BHS alongside her significant other, fully committing herself to the process. Through her dedication and by leading by example, she quickly demonstrated the value she places on her recovery, ultimately earning the role of house manager.
During her time at Second Chance BHS, Diana took the initiative to pursue her CHW and CPRS trainings. She later transitioned to independent living with her significant other, briefly volunteered, and then moved into an internship with Voices of Hope to complete her required hours. Shortly thereafter, she was hired as a CHW, earning her certification quickly, followed by her CPRS.
Since joining the team, Diana has continued to grow and expand her impact. She consistently steps in where needed, takes on responsibilities with a positive attitude, and follows tasks through to completion. She is highly knowledgeable about community resources and is always willing to go the extra mile to support participants and serve the community.
Diana also plays an active role in volunteer onboarding, helping lead orientations and providing guidance to new volunteers as they begin their journey. She leads the All Recovery meeting at the center and approaches her work with our core values in mind—integrity, compassion, and connection.
She has remained dedicated, put in the effort, and consistently demonstrates the qualities we value in a strong team member. We are proud to have her as part of the team.
Thank you, Diana, for all that you do and for the positive energy you bring to work every day!
