Recovery is about more than staying sober—it’s about finding purpose, connection, and something to look forward to. Andrew began volunteering with Voices of Hope on February 24, 2026, after looking for something to fill a gap in his recovery. Since then, Andrew has become a valued part of our volunteer family, serving at community events, the Paris Foundation, and the Community Kitchen in Elkton. He shared that volunteering has increased his confidence, strengthened his recovery, and given him something meaningful to look forward to. When asked what serving the community means to him, Andrew said: “Helping people who don't even know there is help out there for them.” Andrew describes his volunteer journey as inspiring, helpful, and fun and lives by the motto: “One day at a time.” Andrew, thank you for showing up, giving back, and sharing your positive spirit! We’re proud to have you as part of the Voices of Hope volunteer family. 💙 He found purpose. He found connection. He found another piece of his recovery.
