💪 Thank You, Cecil Cares Day Volunteers! 🌟
We are overflowing with gratitude after seeing so many incredible people come together to support Voices of Hope during Cecil Cares Day on October 4th, 2025! 💜
What a day it was — laughter filled the air, paint brushes danced across the walls, and teamwork was on full display as volunteers and staff joined forces to transform the Mommy and Me House. 🎨 From rolling on fresh coats of color to carefully decorating each space, every person played a part in turning a once-empty house into a warm, welcoming home for mothers in recovery and their children.
You could feel the energy of hope in every room. Some volunteers shared stories as they painted, while others focused on adding thoughtful touches — small decorations, bright colors, and uplifting details that will make future residents feel safe and loved. Every brushstroke carried meaning, painting not just walls, but a future full of healing, connection, and new beginnings. 🌱
Because of their time, energy, and compassion, our soon-to-open Mommy and Me House is one step closer to becoming a safe haven where families can grow and rebuild together.
